With the holiday season upon us most have started looking for sweet delights to munch on. After all, you can’t commit the sin of measuring your calorie intake during this time of the year. And when you say dessert, hopeless chocoholics like us just just can’t go past the image of gooey, delicious chocolatey treats. And nothing can beat it if you are making them at home, I mean the portion served gets way bigger right? Don’t worry we are not here to give you a three-hour long recipe that will have you spend half the day in the kitchen. To bring you a sigh of relief we have curated a list of five of the easiest chocolate desserts that will be done in no time. You know the best part? You don’t even need to bake.
Chocolate Truffle:
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups dark chocolate
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Cocoa powder
Chopped nuts
Instructions:
Step 1:
First, finely chop the dark chocolate and keep it in a heatproof bowl. Take a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
Step 2:
Now, pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let the chocolate melt.
Step 3:
After a few minutes start gently stirring the mixture with a spatula or spoon until the chocolate is completely melted and nicely combined with the cream. Then stir in the softened butter and vanilla extract until the mixture turns smooth.
Step 4:
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Step 5:
Once the chocolate mixture is firm enough, use a spoon or a small scoop to portion out small amounts of chocolate and then roll them into round truffle shapes. Dust your hands with cocoa powder to prevent sticking.
Step 6
If you are going all festive then roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts for a decorative touch. Completely optional though.
Step 7:
Once done making all the truffles, place them back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to set.

No-Bake Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
1/3 cup unsalted butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, depending on the sweetness of the cookies)
For the Filling:
2 cups cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips, melted and cooled slightly
Instructions:
Step 1:
Combine the chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar (if using) in a medium bowl. Mix until the crumbs get evenly coated.
Step 2:
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Use the back of a spoon or the bottom of a glass to set it right and refrigerate it.
Step 3:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it becomes smooth. Now gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract in it while continuously beating until it gets nicely combined.
Step 4:
Take the chocolate chips in a separate bowl and melt them in the microwave or using a double boiler method. Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly.
Step 5:
Now add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and beat until it gets evenly combined.
Step 6:
Take a separate bowl and whip the heavy cream in it until stiff peaks form. Next gently start folding the whipped cream into the chocolate-cream cheese mixture til it gets nickel mixed.
Step 7:
Remove the crust from the refrigerator and pour the chocolate cheesecake filling over the chilled crust. Spread it evenly and place the cheesecake in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
You can garnish it with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or grated chocolate if desired. Run a knife around the edges of the pan before releasing the springform to ensure it gets easily removed.

60g dark chocolate
2 cups milk

Method:
Step 1:
Start with finely chopping dark chocolate and set aside.
Step 2:
Take a medium saucepan and add sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt. Next pour the milk, while whisking, until it gets mixed nicely.
Step 3:
Place the saucepan over medium heat. Keep stirring it constantly until the mixture thickens. Next, put heavy cream and chopped chocolate until it gets combined well. After turning the heat off add vanilla extract.
Step 4:
Pour it into a serving bowl. Once it comes to room temperature, put it into refrigerator and store.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients:
Fresh strawberries as much desired
200 grams chocolate of your choice (dark, milk, or white)
Instructions:
Step 1:
Use a microwave or a double boiler to melt the chocolate.

Hold each strawberry by the stem or leaves and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering it halfway or fully as per your wish. Gently shake the strawberry or tap it against the edge of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.

Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the mixture to firm up slightly.
Step 4:
