Recently, a yummy recipe for a quick-to-make masala quinoa upma was shared by TV actress Juhi Parmar. The Bigg Boss 5 winner is often seen sharing great dietary advice on her Instagram handle.
“Weekends are for bingeing but Monday gets us back into the routine! Cooking up a healthy yet yummy Masala Quinoa Upma which not only is perfect as a meal but also helps in weight loss! Try it out,” She captioned her video.
Here’s the list of ingredients you need

Quinoa 1 cup
Garlic, chopped
Green chillies, chopped
Oil, 1 tbsp
Asafoetida, 1/2 tsp
Cumin, 1/2 tsp
Onion, chopped
Tomato, chopped
Green peas
Carrot, chopped
Coriander powder, 1 tsp
Turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder, as per taste
Garam masala, 1/2 tsp
Salt, as per taste

Method to prepare quinoa upma recipe by Juhi Parmar:

1 cup of quinoa should be soaked for 15 to 20 minutes. Asafoetida and cumin are added to hot oil in a pan. Add some chopped garlic and green chillies at this point. Cook them for a while.
Add your choice of vegetables to the pan after a medium-sized chopped onion, carrots and green peas. Cook under a cover until tender. Add the chopped tomato, salt, turmeric, coriander, red chilli powder, and garam masala at this point. Water should be added to the pan to prevent the burning of the masala. Add two cups of water and the quinoa that has been soaked. Cover the pan and let it cook until the quinoa is softened.
